Emraan Hashmi who’s going international with Oscar-winning director Danis Tanovic’s film — tentatively titled White Lies — will star alongside Bond girl Maryam D’Abo in it.
The actress had starred as Kara Milovy in the 1987 James Bond film The Living Daylights, which was Timothy Dalton’s first outing as Bond. Tanovic’s team is currently shooting for their upcoming film in Patiala.
Produced by Cedomir Kolar and Marx with Prashita Chaudhary and Guneet Monga, the film will apparently be D’Abo’s big screen outing after several years post her successful recovery from a surgery for brain hemorrhage in 2007, though the Brit actress did work on a documentary on the medical condition.
Producer Guneet Monga confirmed that the Bond girl will indeed be a part of the film. “Yes Maryam is doing the film and we are delighted to have her in it,” says Guneet.
