Emraan Hashmi down with ghost fever?

Actor Emraan Hashmi who is busy promoting his upcoming flick, Raaz Reboot, since the past week, all of a sudden has fallen ill. As a result, he's been out of action for three days. Apparently, the actor is down with typhoid and is recovering at his Pali Hill apartment in Bandra.

A source reveals to a tabloid that  after a hectic Sunday, Emraan visited a Ganapti pandal with wife Parveen, participated on a TV chat show. Later, went 'ghost-hunting' in haunted houses, with the serial kisser waking up on Monday burning with fever. As a result, Hashmi couldn't fly to Jaipur that day, to join his costars, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora.

"The fever hasn't gone down and Emraan has had to call off tours in Delhi and Chandigarh which are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. He's undergone a blood test, it could be typhoid or it could be a viral infection. He's been advised to take rest and hasn't stepped out of his Bandra home since," the insider added.

Director Vikram Bhatt told the tabloid, "Emraan is a thorough professional and would never go back on his commitment to promote a film. Bhatt saab (producer Mahesh Bhatt) told me that they have got a blood test done after he developed high fever. We do not know for sure yet." Despite the illness, Emraan has been actively promoting his film online. We wish you a speedy recovery!
