Eminem’s childhood home has been burnt down in a fire in Detroit.

According to the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press, the boarded-up bungalow, which is also pictured on the cover of the 41-year-old’s just released album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’ caught fire, which damaged portions of its top floor.

The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately known, Stuff.co.nz reported.

According to public records, the home was listed as the address of Eminem’s mother, Deborah Mathers, starting in the 1980s.

However, it later changed hands and was listed for online auction by the state this year.
