While the entire world is gearing up to say Happy Valentine's Day, Eminem and Ed Sheeran have decided to make it unhappy.

Eminem collaborated with Ed Sheeran for a song called 'River' on his album Revival. The Grammy-winning MC now has decided to drop the video for the song on Valentine's Day is February 14.

The song deals with a complicated, abusive relationship between two people. The lyrics go,

He's comin' home with his neck scratched, to catch flack

Sweat jackets and dress slacks, mismatched

On his breath's Jack, he's a sex addict

And she just wants to exact revenge and get back

While Sheeran's hook goes like this,

I've been a liar, been a thief

Been a lover, been a cheat

All my sins need holy water, feel it washing over me

Well, little one, I don't want to admit to something

If all it's gonna cause is pain

Truth and my lies right now are falling like the rain

So let the river run

Eminem teased the song with a 30-second clip on his Twitter account.

The footage features a screaming couple, arguing and getting abusive. Then we hear Ed Sheeran ask questions about that relationship to the duo. But then Eminem himself appears, answering Sheeran's question about his love life. In the end, Sheeran answers one question himself.

Eminem captioned the tweet, "Unhappy Valentine’s day! #River Music Video ft. @edsheeran WEDNESDAY."

In an interview with Billboard Sheeran talked about the opportunity of working with Eminem. He called it 'a door that I thought was closed and just opened randomly.'

Revival released in December 2017 immediately reaching number 1 rank on Billboard 200 chart. The feat made Eminem only person to ever have eight albums debut at the top spot.
