Catching millions of his fans off guard, American rapper Eminem on Friday dropped a new album titled Kamikaze.

This is an unusual move by the rapper whose real name is Marshal Mathers. Eminem took a good seven years to release the third album in 'R' trilogy Revival. His last album before that was The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Just after eight months since the release of Revival, Eminem tweeted about the release of Kamikaze. The album includes 13 tracks that feature artists like Joyner Lucas, Royce da 5'9" and Jessie Reyez and a special track for the movie Venom starring Tom Hardy.

The 45-year-old took to social media to make the announcement and also shared the cover art, which is inspired by the Beastie Boys' debut LP Licensed to Ill.

"Tried not 2 overthink this...enjoy," the Grammy-winning rapper tweeted.

The special emoji in the tweet and the Apple Music tease suggests that Eminem is calling out the who's who of everything that is imaginable. Machine Gun Kelly, Tyler the Creator, Joe Budden, Lil Yachty, Lil Xan, Lil Pump are the names being revealed by the fans who cannot handle this surprise.

"Shady punches back, and he's naming names," is the line and you will need to go through the track list to figure out who got the "honorary" mentions.

Co-produced by Dr Dre, Kamikaze is available for purchase on iTunes and the official online store of the rapper. Fans can also stream the music on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music.

His 10th studio album, Kamikaze has a playtime of 45 minutes.
