Ek aur clash: It's Shah Rukh Khan vs Akshay Kumar, Crack vs Imtiaz Ali's film next August!

Few months back, right before the release of Akshay Kumar's Rustom, director Neeraj Pandey released the first poster of his next - titled Crack featuring Akki. While the poster didn't feature Akshay, it unveiled the release date of the film. Independence Day 2017. 

Now, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma too have unveiled the first look of their next film, directed by Imtiaz Ali. Tentatively titled The Ring, the makers are still on the hunt for a better title. So the first look has been released, sans a title. But they too have revealed the release date. August 11, 2017 as decided by Salman Khan! 

So, it's understandable that SRK's film is clashing with Akshay's Crack next Independence Day. Given that SRK has already completed half of his shoot and is gearing up to finish the remaining portions now and Akshay has not even begun work on Crack (and he might not soon, since he's got his hands full with Jolly LLB 2, Robot 2.0 and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha), will Crack's release date be postponed? There's a slight possibility. But if that doesn't happen, it means after the Raees versus Kaabil clash between SRK and Hrithik next January, the Dear Zindagi actor will gear up for another box office battle with Akshay next August.
