Eat, love, birthday!

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor believe in working hard and playing hard. The couple take off for holidays two-three times a year. Their annual holiday to Staad aside, the couple has just returned from Maurituis (with his mom and sisters)  and now they are heading to Los Angeles for a brief spell.

Not just that, the actor is already planning Kareena’s birthday. This will be her first birthday after their marriage, so he wants it to be memorable. Ideally, he would have wanted to keep this a surprise but he had to discuss it with his begum because he needs to keep her date diary free to travel on those days.

Says a source, “Saif loves to travel and he takes great pain to plan their holidays. This year he has decided to take Bebo to Italy for her birthday on September 21. The 10-day holiday will have the couple travelling in a totally relaxed manner. No maids, entourage or army of assistants. They will rent a car in Rome, and then drive everywhere. If they have time they may also make a trip to Venice.”

When on a holiday, the duo forget their diets and workout regime and gorge on all the local delicacies a city has to offer. In an industry where affairs are momentary, it is lovely to see a couple so committed and in love with each other after over half a decade of being together.
