Now, we’ve loved MIB3 far before the DVD came out and we loved it so much, we watched it thrice in one week. Keeping that in mind, the DVD that’s released for distribution in India is kind of disappointing.

Now, we’ve loved MIB3 far before the DVD came out and we loved it so much, we watched it thrice in one week. OK. We watched it twice in one week. Keeping that in mind, the DVD that’s released for distribution in India is kind of disappointing. Once you’ve seen a film more than once, you wouldn’t want to buy a DVD — however awesome the movie — just to watch a special features like The Making of MIB3. Yes, there’s a gag-reel and yes, it’s hilarious! But really, how many times can just one gag-reel be replayed? And then, there’s the Back In Time video featuring
Pitbull.
That said, it was a pleasure watching the movie all over again and discovering how many of the scenes were done. Did you know that the whole climax scene — the launch of Apollo from Cape Canaveral was digitally recreated — like the whole thing! It was all shot in a studio, every single bit... except maybe the scenes on the beach (not too sure of this, though!).
The movie can be watched a million times over, it’s one of those rewatchable films that just entertains you every single time. Better still, it’s family friendly and so this makes it that perfect DVD for an evening with the family.
We think this is one of those DVDs you must own, not for the specials that come with a DVD, but just cause the movies so fun! It really is. P.S. In case you wanted to watch a better resolution of the Back In Time video... just YouTube it... it can get pretty obsessive, that song!
