Salman Khan’s next film after Tubelight, is with Yashraj Films. The film is titled Tiger Zinda Hai, and it is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger, which was directed by Kabir Khan. But for this one, the actor reunites with his Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar.
While it is not common for directors to give up a successful franchise to another director, Ali and Kabir have no such hang-ups in their friendship. Kabir knows about the project and has given his blessings for the same.
How similar will Tiger’s second story be to the first one? Only Ali can answer that. In an interview to After Hrs before the release of Sultan, Ali said, “I can’t make a Kabir Khan film and Kabir Khan can’t make my film. Every script that I have written has been shared with Kabir and every script that Kabir has made, is shared with me. And we have conversations about it.”
It’s Salman’s third film with the banner. All 3 Khans will work in YRF films next year. Aamir will be part of Thug), and Shah Rukh will be seen in Aditya Chopra’s next directorial.
Sanjay Gadhvi directed Dhoom and Dhoom:2. Dhoom:3 was directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor.
Housefull and Housefull 2 had Sajid Khan at the helm, while Housefull 3 was directed by Sajid-Farhad
The first film was directed by South director Priyadarshan. Phir Hera Pheri was directed by Neeraj Vora. And Hera Phera 3 is stuck in limbo.
The first film was directed by Anees Bazmee, who also directed the sequel Welcome Back, but in all likelihood, won’t return for the next one.
