DJ Aqeel to relaunch Hype nightclub in capital

New Delhi: Disc jockey Aqeel, who rose to fame with "Shake it daddy mix" in 2000, is all set to relaunch his nightclub Hype here.

The nightclub, which was earlier located in Connaught Place, will be launched at ITC's WelcomeHotel, Dwarka Wednesday and will open its doors for party lovers April 25.

It is spread over an area of 12,000 sq. ft.

"I love Delhi's night life the most, which is why I keep coming back to Delhi. The city has one of the best nightclubs in India but Hype will be different. Given that it is the second innings of the club, we have a lot of surprises for our patrons," Aqeel said in a statement.

"Also, the futuristic interior and luxurious ambience will soon make Hype the hottest destination in Delhi," he added.

Hype was first launched in 2009 and closed down in 2013.
