Divyanka Tripathi has reacted strongly to the reports alleging that she wanted her husband to be included in the project apart from a sum of Rs 5 lakh.
Divyanka Tripathi's fans were in for a shock when a leading entertainment portal reported that Divyanka Tripathi had put forward some unreasonable demands when approached for a photo shoot. But now, the actress has slammed the rumours and has reacted strongly to it.
It was reported yesterday that Divyanka Tripathi was approached for the photo shoot of a fashion calendar by a designer as they had some budget constraints due to which they couldn't approach Bollywood actresses and Divyanka being immensely popular was on top of their list. Reportedly, Divyanka, after showing some excitement and interest in the project put forward her conditions saying that she would agree to take up the project only if her husband, Vivek Dahiya is also a part of it and she would be paid a sum of Rs 5 lakh.
Turns out that another entertainment portal called up the actress to clarify the incident and Divyanka was herself stunned on finding out that the story has been published without her quote or clarification. In a series of voice notes that she sent to the portal, she is heard saying that she believes that every person who is close to her should got through their share of struggle and hard work as that defines who they are, rather than her recommending them or pushing them to move ahead in their career.
She said, "Obviously it's all bakwaas, I don't know what sources are they talking about. They did not even reveal the source and they did not even take my quote. I believe in hard work, people have never seen me taking anybody's name for my own work and I would not do that for anybody else..."
