Actress Emily Mortimer is set to star in Disney's Mary Poppins Returns. The British actress will share screen with Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda in the sequel to 1964's Mary Poppins, reported Variety.

Mortimer,44, will portray the now-grown Jane Banks, who was one of the children Mary Poppins looked after in the original fantasy movie.

Meanwhile, the grown-up version of Jane Banks' brother Michael is set to be played by Ben Whishaw.

Blunt will portray the titular character, while Hamilton star Miranda will play a new character, a street lamplighter named Jack.

The story set in Depression-era London, follows a now-grown Jane and Michael Banks, who along with Michael's three children, are visited by the enigmatic Mary Poppins following a personal loss.
