Hollywood actor Matt Damon has debuted his new hairstyle - a ponytail.

The 44-year-old Bourne Identity star was seen rocking the ponytail when speaking to reporters with his co-stars at a press conference for his new movie The Great Wall reported Ace Showbiz.

The movie is set in 15th century China and follows British warriors who happen upon the hurried construction of the massive wall. As night falls, the warriors realise that the haste in building and the wall isn't just to keep out the Mongols, there is something inhuman and more dangerous.

The Great Wall also stars Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe, and Chinese actors like Andy Lau, Jing Tian, Zhang Hanyu and Zhang Yimou.

The movie is scheduled to release in 2016.
