Comedy Nights fame Kapil Sharma is proving to be stardom’s worst nightmare come true. As more sordid details of his highhandedness emerge, what we get is a picture of a man who just can’t handle it. The success and the drinks.

However a  lot of what’s being passed off as an “eyewitness account” is pure nonsense. According to a member of Kapil Sharma’s team, “Kapil never hurled a shoe at Sunil Grover on the flight. This is  purely a  figment of someone’s imagination.Kapil is now being painted as the full-blown villain of the piece. The villain is actually his addiction to the bottle. However the signs of arrogance are now seeping into his dealings with stars who come in the show for promotions. Many of them complain about being made to wait for hours before shooting.
Says an actor who was on Kapil’s show recently to promote his film. “We were at the studio for a good two hours before he showed up. Of course we were annoyed. But once he reached it was okay. He is a lot of fun to work with.”

Actors also complain that Kapil doesn’t call them directly anymore to come on the show. A senior actor complains, “He gets his staff to ring me up to come on the show. I told the girl who called to invite me to tell Kapil to call if he wants me to be on the show. That’s how it was earlier.”
