Jennifer Lawrence won the 'Best Actress Drama' Golden Globe award for Joy on Sunday night. But what the internet is buzzing about more, is her interaction with the press after accepting the award.
In the press room, Jennifer Lawrence called out a reporter for using a phone while asking her questions. But her comments left people thinking that the usually quirky actress was being rude to the reporter.

In a video posted by Variety, Jennifer Lawrence said, "You can't live your whole life behind your phone, bro." Pointing her finger at him she added, "You can't do that. You have to live in the now." When the reporter attempted to continue with his question, she interrupted him again, saying: “We’re at the Golden Globes. If you put your phone down, you’d know that.”
Internet dwellers pointed out that from the video, it is clear that the reporter wasn't a native English speaker and that journalists often use their phones to note down questions, record answers or take notes. Many feel it was rude and unkind of Lawrence to interrupt him.
Jennifer Lawrence is very young and I'm pretty sure when she's older she'll distinguish between "rude" and "English as a second language."

@Variety Time to get over yourself, Jennifer Lawrence.

Jennifer Lawrence criticising a guy for living life behind a screen seems dumb for someone who's just won an award for being in a movie

@montybadago @GreenWeiner @Variety Yeah, her. I'm a big fan but I think she went a bit too far. He sounded nervous/scared/overwhelmed.

However, other reporters present in the press room at the time said that Lawrence's comments were lighthearted and that the reporter was not using his phone for journalistic purposes, but to take pictures and videos of her.
He was taking pictures & video of Jennifer Lawrence while asking his questions & I even found it distracting.
