Dibakar Banerjee launches 'Detective Boymkesh Bakshy's second trailer

Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee launched the second trailer of his upcoming crime thriller "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy" along with its lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput in Mumbai recently.

Speaking about the film which is based on a fictional character created by the Bengali writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, Banerjee said; "All I want to say is that regardless of that fact that some people have read Boymkesh and some haven't, some have seen the TV serial based on his character and some not but this film is going to be a shock for all of them. So get ready for a surprise. Expect the unexpected as we are saying is not to advertise but to warn you all because when you will see the film it's going to be totally new for all of us. So when something is new it either attracts people or repels. All my films have this quality which is present in this as well that too in a bigger way."

The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Anand Tiwari and Swastika Mukherjee in lead roles and is slated for April 3 release.
