It's often not that hard to tell where a person is from. But people have ways of hiding their origins. Fortunately, Alia Bhatt has a plan to solve that problem!
Make My Trip's latest ad campaign featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh was released yesterday on YouTube. And this time, Diana Penty joins in on the fun, too. The ad revolves around office executives Alia and Diana trying to figure out where their friend Sam aka Ranveer is from.
Alia devises a scheme and calls Sam to ask him about his bookings for his trip to Paris. Sam, in a perfect English accent, replies that his friend got him some pretty good deals, which encourages Alia to show him some of the international deals on the Make My Trip app. Sam flips through the rock bottom prices and instantly launches into a series of abuses, which leads Alia to conclude to a confused Diana that Sam is a Delhi boy after all!
The ad ends with Sam continually hurling insults at his agent with Make My Trip advertising its amazing international packages.
The ad manages to be a hilarious new outing for the duo as they rope along Diana to join them in their highly popular ad campaign with MMT. Alia and Ranveer have been brand ambassadors for MMT for the past year now and this is their sixth commercial together.
The two have spoken in Punjabi, Bengali and even Gujarati for the ad series and have taken on new and wackier personas each time, acquiring positive responses from advertising industry officials and audiences alike. The advertisement has currently only been released on YouTube and will see its premiere on TV soon.
