Details about Deepika Padukone's Ghoomar sequence in 'Padmavati' REVEALED!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's third outing with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh has been the talk of the town ever since the project was announced. After overcoming all the differences and obstacles, the film is finally rolling and the cast is currently busy shooting for the second schedule of the film.

Now, it was already reported that Deepika, who plays the protagonist in Padmavati, has recently completed the shooting of a ghoomar sequence. As per a BollywoodLife report, the costume designers for Padmavati, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, revealed some details about the said sequence.

Rimple was quoted saying, "The Ghoomar dance has come out to be really very well. Just recently we have completed the sequence. What Deepika will be wearing is a typical Rajasthani ghoomar and we have taken into consideration the typical colours like the reds and yellows for the outfit. And of course, we have added our own touch to it. We are being very careful with the colours, the fabrics and everything else because people observe everything closely. So even now, we are reading story books, visiting museums and doing our research on the outfits of those times.”

The period drama that also stars Shahid Kapoor will hit the theatres next year.
