Desi Design for Aashka Goradia at Emmy Awards

Television actress Aashka Goradia who is attending the 41st International Emmy Awards in New York has chosen desi designers to create her outfit. She has been on the jury for the awards for two years now but is attending it for the first time.  She will be wearing a sari-gown by Riddhi & Siddhi Mapxencar on both the festival days as well as on the red carpet.

The designers reveal,  “Aashka’s garment is graphic and modern with Indian hand embroidery adorning the corset and peplum. We wanted to keep the look understated yet glamorous enough, hence we chose black and white for the ensemble. Aashka has nice broad shoulders and so we decided to accentuate this feature by giving her a corset style.”
