Deepika Padukone to produce a Holly remake?

After Priyanka Chopra, her rival Deepika Padukone is also planning to turn producer. In fact, it’s been a long time since she has been contemplating it and now, we hear she she has started reading scripts. Buzz is, she has all but zeroed in on which film she wants to produce.

The actress, who has just shot some kick-ass action scenes in her Hollywood debut film XXX-Return Of The Xander Cage, might produce an action film first. It will probably be the remake of Lara Croft that starred Angelina Jolie, and was one of her highest-grossers.
