Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma find ideal abode; Parineeti Chopra, Sunny Leone, Katrina Kaif among others still striving for one
What do Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone have in common? All these actresses are out of towners who have made Mumbai city their home. In fact, they've all bought homes with the money they earned in films. There are many other actresses who are not from this city - Parineeti Chopra, Chitrangda Singh, Sunny Leone etc who have still not managed to buy themselves that dream home. Hundreds of girls move to the city of dreams every day and rent apartments to live in, till they can afford to buy a home. Not everyone can. Even actresses who earn in lakhs and crores have to save up.
Parineeti Chopra, who hails from Ambala, came to Mumbai in 2009 and moved into a two-bedroom rented apartment in Seven Bungalows, in Andheri. she still has to buy her own place. Parineeti says, "I haven't found the house I want to buy. Affordability is not the problem. I haven't had the time to look around so much and I haven't found 'the one'." When quizzed about her dream home she says, "I would love a sea-facing home of course. That's the beauty of Mumbai.

Like I didn't hold back at all because it was something that my family was going to be living in and because I always lived in those government houses and as big as they are and my mother tried her best to make them look nice because you can't change anything about these houses. For me these things are most important - like a house. It means security."
