Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor will NOT be seen together at Cannes 2017!

Deepika Padukone will be unable to walk the red carpet at the Cannes film festival this year. Given that she has been chosen as the new face for a cosmetics brand, it was said that she would head to the French Riveira along with the other brand ambassadors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor.

Dippy, who is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, wants to give undivided attention to the historical drama in which she plays the titular role. As per reports that are doing the rounds, considering the delays due to protests by fringe groups over Padmavati’s depiction in the film, Deepika does not want to reschedule the shoot.
