Meet the country's most stylish power movers

The era of straitlaced CEOs, who spent their entire lives in a frumpy ill-fitting grey suit worn with a pair of black Oxford shoes is over. Today's dandies and sophisticates rock the boardrooms in their fashion-forward sartorial bests - adding their own individualistic whimsy to their looks. These power movers and cocktail shakers inject their own own powerful personalities to each look and take the phrase 'power-dressing' to another level. We ask some of our noted designers and style arbiters to identify India's most stylish CEOs.

Sunjay Kapur, CEO Sona Group
Designer Raghavendra Rathore says, "Top head honchos are renowned for the vision and leadership they bring to the company. Few are able to unleash their charming personality through a distinct sense of fashion. In these fashionable times of "social networking," these executives can never afford be out of character. Those like Sunjay Kapur, preferring the classic Rathore Jodhpur bandhgala, impeccably blend their business persona with their characteristic style quotient. Style is the perfection of a point of view and Mr Kapur is adept at staying true to his roots with his timeless and distinguished dressing and tops our list of the most dapper businessmen."

Chetan Jaikishan
Designer Troy Costa says, "He is always on the best dressed list of every magazine and he deserves that spot because he is always well turned out. Being stylish means - you are well dressed every time you step out. Whether Chetan is in casual or formal - he always looks suave. His watch, frames and other accessories are well put together."

Chanda Kochhar, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank
Designer Nimish Shah says, "She is always quite well turned out. I like the fact despite being naturally lean, she always stick to saris even though she can easily rock a suit or a dress."

Priya Chatwal Sachdev, CEO, Kitsch
"Priya does justice to whatever she wears. She is clearly the face of the international brands she retails. It comes very naturally to her and she does full justice to all her looks." adds Shah.

Vikram Raizada, CEO, Tara Jewellers
Designer Troy Costa says, "He carries off clothes very well. He is a connoisseur and is in great shape. He is always well dressed and colour co-ordinated. He's clearly one of the best dressed guys on the circuit. He genuinely loves clothes."

Ceclila Parekh, CEO, Le Mill
"Her style is very sophisticated and posh! She never wears random clothes to prove a point. Her closet is in a luxury space," says Nimish.

Maithili Ahluwalia, Bungalow 8
"She is effortlessly chic and Bungalow 8 - one of the most chicest concept stores today is an extension of her personality," says designer Nimish Shah.
