Debra Messing of ' Will and Grace ' says gay rights is part of her life mission

Washington: Debra Messing of the `Will and Grace` fame has claimed that supporting LGBT causes has become part of her "life mission".

The 45-year-old actress, who is a staunch advocate for the LGBT community, told the Huffington Post that a teacher whom she lost to HIV/AIDS inspired her to fight for gay rights.

The Emmy Award winner added that she also wants to show the world a community that is not often celebrated or that people don't really know very much about.
