Debina Bonnerjee doesn't enjoy hubby Gurmeet's steamy scenes

Gurmeet Choudhary’s debut film Khamoshiyan had a cameo by his wife Debina Bonnerjee. In fact, Gurmeet had said then that every film that he does, his wife will appear at least in a cameo. However, that is not happening in his upcoming film Wajah Tum Ho. Says Debina, “I was busy with my TV show and could not be a part of his film, but I have sung the cover version of the title track.” The actress says she loves singing and is also trained in it.

“One day I was singing karaoke when my friend noticed me and it was his idea that I sing the cover version,” smiles Debina. Ask her what she feels about the steamy scenes Gurmeet has done with Sana Khan in the film and she says, “I have seen the film and I know what actually happens, why those scenes are required.”

So, is she okay with her hubby doing these scenes? “Both of us came to Mumbai to carve a niche for ourselves in the industry. Just because we got married doesn’t mean that it should put restrictions on him or that a single guy should have an edge over him. But I do not enjoy these scenes. They don’t bother me as long as I don’t see them again and again,” she says candidly adding that Gurmeet had discussed the scenes with her beforehand.

“He was pretty nervous about it, but I told him if he doesn’t do it with conviction, he won’t be able to convey the feelings.”
