David Lynch fans Rejoice! The acclaimed director is not retiring from film-making after all.

The ?Mullholand Drive? director, while talking to a Belgian daily in Cannes, said that he has not quit cinema and would consider making another cinematic feature film under the right circumstances, reports The Independent.

He said, ?I did not say I quit cinema. Simply that nobody knows what the future holds.?

This response comes after Lynch, in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, told that the 2006 movie 'Inland Empire' was his last movie and he won't be making any other movie in the future.

The ?Twin Peaks? creator noted, ?Things changed a lot. So many films were not doing well at the Box Office even though they might have been great films and the things that were doing well at the box office weren't the things that I would want to do.?

Currently, Lynch is making the rounds promoting his season three of ?Twin Peaks,? his famous cult television show from the early 1990s.
