Baywatch star David Hasselhoff and his Australian partner Kym Johnson have been eliminated from the 11th season of US TV hit Dancing With The Stars.

Their exit came just one night after the season's premiere on ABC, during which Hoff shared the lowest score, 15 points out of 30, with Jersey Shore star Mike, The Situation Sorrentino and comedienne Margaret Cho, reports News.com.au.

On Monday, Hasselhoff was accused of "dancing with his face" by judge Carrie Ann Inaba after footage showed his constantly contorting expressions.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Hasselhoff and Sorrentino were on the chopping block along with the show's most-talked-about contestant, Bristol Palin, by Tuesday.

Nevertheless Palin and Sorrentino lived to dance another day as musical guests Santana, Chris Daughtry and India Aire serenaded the crowd at the results show.
