Vivek Agnihotri claimed that all the talent that existed in stand-up comic acts put together is lesser than the quality of David Dhawan's worst flop!

David Dhawan celebrated his 60th birthday on Sunday and actually managed to cause a minor Twitter showdown between stand-up comedian and YouTuber Karan Talwar (who goes by the handle @BollywoodGandu), Milap Zaveri (the man who has written 'classics' like Masti, Grand Masti and Heyy Baby) and Vivek Agnihotri who Wikipedia describes as an avante-garde director, producer and writer but is best remembered for The Usual Suspects rip-off Chocolate.
Now Bollywood is an industry that really sticks together through thick and thin, as we witnessed during Salman Khan's 'hit-and-run' trial case. So when Milap Zaveri, tweeted: “"Happy birthday to the undisputed No 1 KING of comedy David Dhawan sir! Grew up loving his films! Lucky to have worked with him n learnt!", Karan Talwar had to point out that it was a typical Bollywood reaction which couldn't differentiate between quality and quantity.

Typical Bollywoodiya tweet. Can’t differentiate quality versus quantity https://t.co/DVIIc2srDg

@BollywoodGandu it's nice to see u behaving like your name. Achieve even 1% of David sir's quality or quantity and then talk. Cheers.

@zmilap sir when is grand masti 3 coming out? Eagerly waiting.
— Karan Talwar (@BollywoodGandu) August 16, 2015
@zmilap same thing no?
— Karan Talwar (@BollywoodGandu) August 16, 2015
@BollywoodGandu I would hope so! Especially in emulating box office records/success

Vivek Agnihotri soon joined the fray claiming that sum total of quality that existed in all Indian stand-up acts was lesser than David Dhawan's floppest (sic) movie in quality. What followed were some cheat potshots
The sum total of all Indian standups'quality (if any) < David's floppest movie's quality. https://t.co/lmU5pPw8nm

People who say “stand ups” are very different from people who understand stand up comedy. https://t.co/1yvd6kYxiE

I wish 'Stand Ups' like you had earned enough credibility and respect to be included in a genre called 'comedy'. https://t.co/qA3QvuDX7W
— Vivek Agnihotri (@vivekagnihotri) August 16, 2015
I’m hardly a comedian. Unlike you. https://t.co/kCyRo3hotD
— Karan Talwar (@BollywoodGandu) August 16, 2015
It's an honor coming from a 'stand up' whose comic talent is built on making fun of film personalities. https://t.co/uVhBhwYOpF
— Vivek Agnihotri (@vivekagnihotri) August 16, 2015
It’s ok to feel threatened but rest assured you’re not a Bollywood personality https://t.co/1pPqULLopl
