'Darbar' second poster: Rajinikanth's intensity spells magic

Rajinikanth is a name that is synonymous with acting. His rags-to-riches story is still an inspiration to many minds, and the tag of megastar is something that his fans couldn't help but shower him with. Rajini is one of the few most senior actors who has seen the industry change and has also evolved with time.

Take, for example, Rajinikanth, in his upcoming release Darbar, appears in a never-seen-before avatar. An angry Rajini exhibits power in the second look from the movie. Based on an industrial setting, Rajini appears macho and intense at the same time.

Darbar would mark Suniel Shetty's debut into the Tamil film industry. He is paired alongside Prateik Babbar, who also plays an antagonist in the film. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Dalip Tahil, Soori, Harish Uthaman,  Jeeva, Manobala, Suman, Anandaraj, Rao Ramesh, Bose Venkat, Prakash Raj, Nawab Shah and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles.

The AR Murugadoss directorial, as reported by The News Minute, will star Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj in a pivotal role. Sacred Games actor Jatin Sarna (who went by on-screen name Bunty) is also expected to make his cameo in the movie. The cop drama is slated to release in theatres on Pongal 2020.
