Danny Boyle's girlfriend Rosario Dawson not moving to London

Rosario Dawson has no plans to move to London to be close to her boyfriend Danny Boyle.

The stunning actress has been dating the director for several weeks after meeting him on the set of his new film Trance, which he has been shooting in Britain.

But she isn't planning on staying in the UK capital permanently and will be happy to have a long distance relationship with the filmmaker, who is based in the city, from her home in Los Angeles.

Rosario — who, at 33, is 22 years younger than 55-year-old Danny — said: "I'm back and forth splitting my time between England and LA. Right now, I'm focusing on the American election. I go to a lot of conventions, as I have a voting organisation set up called Voto Latino, which is eight years old, and so that is my main priority at the moment."

The screen star is very involved in the upcoming US election — in which President Barack Obama is bidding to win a second term — and she insists her political interests will take priority over her acting career for the next few months.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper at the London West End opening of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Julius Caesar, she said: "I still act as well as doing the political stuff, but, on election year, I tend to focus on that ... On election year that takes priority."
