Filmmaker Sofia Coppola says 2015 comedy "Daddy's Home" is the only film that she and her children can watch together.

The 46-year-old director-screenwriter says the Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg-starrer is one of her favourite moveis till date, reported The New York Times.

"(It's) the only film my kids and I equally enjoy together! I love Will Ferrell, and this movie is sweet and fun to watch with cracking-up kids," says Coppola.

The "Beguiled" helmer has two daughters Romy, 11 and Cosima, seven with her second husband musician Thomas Mars.

Coppola says she prefers subtle movies more.

On her favourite films of the 21st-century, Coppola says, "I just thought about movies I liked from the last 15, 20 years. I find them inspiring, especially when it's something you haven't seen before, and not close to anything I'm doing.

"'Force Majeure', 'The White Ribbon', 'The Savages Head- On, 'Daddy's Home', 'Under the Skin', 'The Incredibles', 'Together', 'Grizzly Man', 'Ida', 'Fish Tank' and 'Ex Machina'."
