Singer Courtney Love says she fired her memoir ghostwriter as the person was prying too much in her personal life.

The 52-year-old songstress says the ghostwriter wanted her to dish out too many "sleazy" stories, reported Rolling Stone.

"I'm on my second ghostwriter. The first one was too tell-all," Love tells Seth Meyers on "Late Night" show.

The Hole frontwoman adds she would not mind writing about the stories other people leaked, including details that end up on the internet.

"It is fun because my Wikipedia, a lot of things leaked.

If it's on my Wikipedia, it's fair game," she says.

Love shares she wants to collaborate with a writer so that she has a "tasteful" memoir like those of Patti Smith, Bob Dylan and Keith Richards.

"I want a co-writer. I don't want to write it myself, and I want somebody to make it funny and true," Love says.
