Confirmed: Aditi Rao Hydari bags Mani Ratnam film with Karthi

She is a Bollywood actress who is talented and was last seen in Wazir. Aditi Rao Hydari was in Chennai over the weekend for a fashion show but it also looks like she went to meet director Mani Ratnam. The latest news - which as confirmed by the actress herself - is that she has bagged the lead female role in Mani Ratnam's film with actor Karthi. When she met the media and was asked about her films, she mentioned that she couldn't talk about one of the movies. But the cat is out of the bag!


Premam actress Sai Pallavi had been signed on first, but it looks like the script underwent some changes. Post the script changes, the ace director felt he needed a more seasoned actress for the role. When he explained this to Sai Pallavi, she seems to have accepted it gracefully. The young actress has numerous films on hand in the south and is quite busy otherwise. 

Aditi currently has Sudhir Mishra's Aur Devdas. The actress is an excellent dancer and her guru is renowned danseuse Leela Samson who lives in Chennai. 

The Bollywood actress returns to a south film after nearly a decade now. She has worked in a Tamil drama called Sringaram and a Malayalam film called Prajapathi.
