Sambhavna had got engaged to Avinash Dwivedi against her parents' wishes.
Feisty ex-Bigg Boss contestant Sambhavna Seth got engaged in February against her parents' wishes. And now, according to reports, the TV actress is getting married to Avinash Dwivedi on July 14.
Speaking to BollywoodLife, the actress said, "The sangeet will be on July 12 and mehendi on the 13th. We will get hitched on the 14th followed by a reception the next day. The ceremonies will take in place in Delhi as both of us belong to the capital city."
After the wedding, a reception will be held in Delhi for family and friends. Later, the couple will throw a reception for their industry friends in Mumbai as well.
The Delhi wedding will be in Punjabi style, but since Avinash is from Uttar Pradesh, there will be different rituals as well, says Sambhavna. Her brother and his wife are taking care of the wedding preparations.
Sambhavna will wear a red lehenga for her big day, and will don a golden outfit for the reception.
Earlier, the actress had shared that she had went against her parents' wishes and gotten engaged to Avinash.
"It's not that I took this decision take immediately. Its been five years and my parents asked me to meet prospective grooms for marriage. Respecting them, I even met a couple of them. But, when they uploaded my profile on matrimonial sites, I realised its time to make them realise that Avinash and I cannot live without each other," Sambhavna told IndiaForum.
Sambhavna and Avinash met on the sets of a dance reality show where he was her mentor. Sambhavna rose to fame after her stint in Bigg Boss season 2. She was seen in a couple of television shows post that. She also performed an item song in the movie Welcome Back.
