Coldplay frontman Chris Martin puts up an impromtu gig at a Delhi cafe

Did you wonder why Chris Martin of Coldplay is the top trend on Twitter in India? Be ready for a heartbreak if you were not in Delhi for this.

Late Wednesday night, Chris Martin played at Summer House Cafe in Delhi's Hauz Khas Village. The unsuspecting crowd of the cafe was full of other musicians and celebs such as Music Director Vishal Dadlani, Musician Raghu Dixit, Actress Frieda Pinto and cast members of comedy collective AIB.

According to the tweets of Vishal, it was more of a jam than a gig because it was impromptu. Martin and Dadlani were at dinner together and he said, 'let's go play somewhere.'

It wasn't an event. We were at a dinner together, and he just went 'let's go play somewhere'! And, boom! @karshkalemusic

There were also people associated with events and artist management company Only Much Louder, reports Huffington Post. This fuelled the speculations that Coldplay could headline one of the upcoming NH 7 Weekender festivals which are organised by OML.

CEO of OML, Vijay Nair, denied that this crazy night had anything to do with a possible Coldplay concert in near future.
