Christian Bale has recently expressed that Moses, a Prophet from the Bible's Old Testament, could be considered a "terrorist."

The 40-year-old actor said that if a person was not religious, they could look at it as one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist, CBS News reported.

He further added that the necessity for empires to exist was that they must have actually a hierarchy among people, whether that's spoken or unspoken. Bale says this is fascinating because it's very human and Moses was a far more human and fallible character than he had imagined before.

The Dark Knight star found Moses a complicated man, and didn't want his version of the biblical hero in the movie Exodus: Gods and Kings to be too haughty.
