Chiyaan Vikram to play a transgender in Anand Shankar's film

Chiyaan Vikram is busy directing the video 'Spirit of Chennai' with Indian actors right now. And soon, the 'I' star will be starting the shoot for director Anand Shankar's film. The latest news from sources is that the actor plays a dual role in the film. He will be the hero in one role and an intriguing antagonist in the other. 

Vikram will be seen as a transgender with evil shades in this film. Vikram has been seen as a woman briefly in an earlier film, Kanthaswamy.

Vikram is known to work very hard on his roles. For the last few films, he has changed his looks extensively and lost and regained weight as required. In this movie too, it is expected that he will deliver an exceptional performance in both the roles he essays.

The actor will be off to Malaysia post Pongal for the shoot of Anand Shankar's film produced by Shibhu Thameens. Nayanthara plays the lead opposite him and this is the first time the audience will see this pair on screen. The movie was earlier going to be titled 'Marma Manithan'.
