Chitrangada Singh files for divorce from husband Jyoti Randhawa

Actress Chitrangada Singh has reportedly filed for divorce from golf player and husband Jyoti Randhawa.

According to a leading website, Chitrangada and Jyoti filed for a divorce by mutual consent at a Mumbai court on Friday.

The couple have a son named Zorawar together.

Chitrangada and Jyoti seemed to avoid paparazzi, as they appeared in the court. They were accompanied by close relatives and a few police officials.

The next date for the hearing was fixed for November 11, as the family court asked the couple to think about reconciliation.

“Both Chitrangda and Jyoti had hired lawyers from Delhi. It seems the duo did not want the matter to go public,” a lawyer at the court told a leading website.

Rumours surrounding Chitrangada’s marriage being in trouble were in the news often.

Randhawa is a golf player who was ranked in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking several times between 2004 and 2009.

Chitrangada has acted in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Desi Boyz, and Inkaar.
