Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are certainly one of the most talked about couples in B-town. While their on and off relationship manages to keep grabbing eyeballs, Ranveer makes sure to never let that 'perfect boyfriend' tag go. From social media PDA to attending events together, Ranveer looks always in awe of his lady love. Now Ranveer has managed to take his tag a top notch higher.
Last night, ace Badminton champion and father of actress Deepika Padukone, Prakash Padukone, along with another legend, Rahul 'The Wall' Dravid, launched the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence in Bengaluru. And like a perfect boyfriend that he is, Ranveer attended the event with Deepika to support her father.
The event saw exceptional Indian players from different fields coming under one roof to inaugurate the institute and Ranveer shared several selfies with the legends like Rahul Dravid, Abhinav Bindra, Vishwanathan Anand and Geet Sethi. But one picture definitely caught everyone’s eye. Well, it was his picture with Deepika’s father, Prakash Padukone.
Though we missed Deepika in the picture perfect frame, it is endearing to see Ranveer getting close to Deepika’s family
Meanwhile, Deepika shared an emotional anecdote about her father as she gave a warm speech at the event. She also took to social media to post a photo and captioned it, “Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence[PDCSE]—this is by far the BEST thing that could’ve happened to Indian Sport! Congratulations! #PrakashPadukone #RahulDravid #VivekKumar”.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ranveer and Deepika will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati, alongside Shahid Kapoor. The movie has no release date as of yet.
