New York: Charlize Theron's production company has reportedly obtained the rights to adapt Susannah Cahalan's 'Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness' into a movie.
The film will star Dakota Fanning in the lead and will follow the author's true story of waking up in a hospital with no memory of the events of the previous month, and piecing together the medical mystery that landed her there, New York Post reported.
The Simon and Schuster book is listed at No. 5 on the New York Times' paperback non-fiction list after getting published in 2012.
