Bollywood actor Chandrachur Singh has not been in the limelight for the past few years now. Now, the actor has emerged in the spotlight once more. But this time, he did so on the streets of Delhi, campaigning for BJP candidate Neha Chaukan for the upcoming MCD elections.

Singh was seen in Delhi participating in the campaign of Neha Chaukan, wife of BJP candidate Mukesh Chaukan. Neha is running from Delhi's Harinagar B Ward No. 97. Chaukan told the media that Singh was a family friend and being a film actor, he could help mobilise people and get their agenda across to the masses. Singh spent about two hours marching through the streets of the city to show his support.

Chandrachur Singh made his Bollywood debut in 1996 in the movie Tere Mere Sapne. However, the movie he is most well known for is Maachis, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Since then, Singh has acted in movies like Daag:The Fire, Kya Kehna and Josh without much success. Singh's acting career came to a halt after an accident he had when he was water skiing in Goa. Due to his shoulder injuries, he was unable to keep fit and lost roles, with an attempted come back in the multi-starrer Chaar Din Ki Chandni in 2012 failing to make returns. Singh was last seen in 2013's Zila Ghaziabad.
