The former model and reality star recently admitted she thinks her home is haunted and wants to call in a medium as she and her husband Kieran Hayler keep hearing unusual sounds and picking up strange smells. Katie who moved into a nine-bedroom property a month ago said, ''Kieran keeps smelling cigarettes and I Googled it and spirits normally smell of smoke and flowers. I am getting a medium in. Because we're knocking things down, we're disturbing the spirits. I am 100 per cent sure there's a ghost.''
Adele
Barely two years ago, the singer spent a whopping $11 million on her new mansion in Sussex, England, only to find that there were spirits already inhabiting it. She got her female bodyguard to move in with her so that she could feel safer. Adele told a friend, "I'm not rattling around here on my own. It gives me the creeps." She apparently added that she keeps hearing things. The house used to be a convent many years ago.
Alyson Hannigan
The actress in 2003 had once told reporters her house was haunted. "I have a ghost in my house. I saw him a couple of months ago. I don't think he died there because there's a law in LA that when you buy a house, if somebody's died there they have to disclose that. And nobody did. So I don't know why he's there. But he's very friendly," she had said. The How I Met Your Mother star insists she's seen the silhouette of a man standing in the bathroom doorway.

The songstress has apparently had a few spooky encounters in the past. A few years back she said, "I just recently moved because [my house] was haunted. I'd always try to convince my friends to spend the night, 'cause I wouldn't get haunted on if they were there." She also added that she had a spirit follow her into her house. "Things were flying off the shelf. That's not bullshit, that really happened. So my healer, she had to literally give me an exorcism," she said.
Nicolas Cage
The actor owned a haunted property from 2007-2009. His former residence, the LaLaurie Mansion, said to be one of the most haunted homes in New Orleans was once owned by a socialite who reportedly tortured slaves in the house. Nicolas said, "The LaLaurie Mansion in New Orleans used to belong to Madame LaLaurie, a well-known 19th century socialite and serial killer. I bought it in 2007, figuring it would be a good place in which to write the great American horror novel. I didn't get too far with the novel."
Matthew McConaughey
Matthew claims to have had a ghost residing with him when he first moved into his Hollywood home. She was an old lady called Madame Blue. The actor said he would often roam around naked in his house. "She has no qualms with me. We get along just fine," McConaughey said. "She's a cool ghost. Maybe me being nude all the time is why we get along!"
