It’s hard to believe but Monica from the popular sitcom Friends will turn 50 this June. Courteney Cox has still managed to stay in showbiz with her own hugely successful show Cougar Town and proved older women can still be hotties. Unlike some of her contemporaries, she has always been open about ageing and has admitted to using botox and lasers.

Sandra Bullock


The Speed actress has continued to shine in the limelight and earned over $56 million in the last few years for her roles in hits as The Blind Side, The Heat and Gravity. In an interview, Sandra said, “I don’t know if it’s the best place I’ve ever been, but it sure feels good.” She will celebrate her milestone birthday on July 26.

Nicolas Cage


The actor who won an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance in Leaving Las Vegas turned 50 on January 7. Aside from his acting skills, Nicolas has directed and produced a number of movies and has remained virtually ageless. He will be seen next onscreen in Left Behind.

The Australian model, who turns 50 on March 29, has proved age is no bar. Aside from her hugely successful modelling career, she has hosted shows, launched a lingerie line and skin care products. Last year, Elle went topless for Harper’s Bazaar Australia issue, recreating her 1994 Playboy pose. She said, “I don’t believe that youth equals beauty or beauty equals youth. How I feel, how well I am is more important to me.”

The very chic US First Lady turned 50 on January 17, and celebrated in style with a party at the White House that had Beyonce singing live. In a recent interview, Michelle said, “I haves never felt more confident, more clear on who I am as a woman. But I am constantly thinking about my own health and make sure that I eat right and get exercise and watch the aches and pains…”

The hero of the ’90s with hit films such as The Matrix trilogy, Speed and The Devils Advocate  turns 50 on September 2. Though he hasn’t retained his total chocolate boy looks, Keanu still doesn’t look his age and will be seen next in the Sci-fi romance Passengers .

It’s hard to image the one-time teen heartthrob is completing half a century next month. Matt Dillon who shot to fame in the 80s and 90s with flicks such as The Outsiders, There’s Something About Mary and Wild Things, hasn’t lost his good looks. He credits positive lifestyle changes like quitting smoking and running for his agelessness.
