The 11th edition of the Frames film festival of the BMM department of SIES College, Nerul, had filmmakers interacting with students, amateur aspiring filmmakers and undergraduates. The festival was inaugurated by director Bejoy Nambiar on February 8. Director Sanjay Gadhvi, cinematographer and director Sanjay Jadhav and Parvin Dabas judged the short films category. Writer duo Farhad-Sajid also participated an interactive session. On the second day, many interesting documentaries were screened at the festival. Director Ajay Bahl and documentary filmmaker and cinematographer Mazhar Kamran judged this category.

Kamran also screened his documentary based on Urdu writer Naiyer Masud for the audience. Later in the day, trailer of the film Identity Card, which is based on the current scenario in Kashmir, was screened at the festival. Director of the film Rahat Kazmi along with the producer Zeba Sajid and actor Furkaan Merchant participated in a question and answer session post the screening of the trailer. The last day saw the screening of animation films and music videos. Siddharth Maskeri and MohanDas judged the animation film category. Actors  Yashpal  Sharma  and  Gulshan  Devaiah were present for the ceremony. Leslie Lewis and Shruti Pathak were present to judge the music video category and even performed for the students. The day concluded with the awards ceremony.
