Clash of brothers: Suriya and Karthi set to take on each other celebrity cricket tournament!

This cricket tournament doesn't involve the Indian team but it's got a lot of glam, glitz and starry players. The South Indian Film Artistes Association or Nadigar Sangam announced that it was launching a celebrity cricket tournament to raise funds. And the matches are going to kick-off on April 3 in Chennai.

The Nadigar Sangam as a means to raise funds for building their office headquarters is raising money through a celeb cricket tournament. The eight teams for the tournament have been formed and they are based on cities in Tamil Nadu. These are the eight teams - Madurai College; Chennai Singams; Nellai Dragons; Thanjai Warriors; Trichy Tigers; Ramnad Rhinos; Kovai Kings and Salem Cheetahs.

The captains for each of the teams have also been decided. And the names are really exciting! Actors, Suriya, Vishal, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Sivakarthikeyan, Arya, VijaySethupathi and Jiiva have been nominated as the eight cricket captains! Referred to as the Super 8 teams, the cricket tournament really looks like it is going to be competitive and fun for the audience.
