Salman Khan was recently asked to speak about the ongoing political fiasco in the country. After the Uri attack, there was a ban declared on Pakistani artists in India.
At a recent event in the capital, Salman opened up on the issue and defended the Pak artists saying, "They (Pakistani actors) are artists, not terrorists. It’s the government who gives them permits and visas."
Now although it isn't a statement that can be tagged anti-national in any way, this has angered a section of the audience. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit attacked Salman on Twitter and posted a series of tweets ranting about the issue.
Take a look:
Remaining Silent on the act of terrorism by your country is also a form of terrorism. @BeingSalmanKhan Sir.
