Cannes 2015: Is Katrina Kaif's look inspired by Game of Thrones' Melissandre?

Upping the game from yesterday, Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif dazzled the spectators and press alike in a red fishtail Elie Saab gown.

Her Red hair and red outfit on the Cannes red carpet reminded us of Melissandre, the red priestess, from popular TV franchise Game of Thrones! Melissandre always wears red robes, red lipstick and has red hair.

This is the first time Katrina is walking down the red carpet at Cannes festival as a brand ambassador of Loreal. She is rubbing shoulders with likes of Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts, Charlize Theron, and Selma Hayek among others.  

On the second outing on Cannes red carpet, Katrina's presence was felt in a scarlet gown from Elie Saab's Pre Fall 2015 collection. Unlike yesterdays Oscar de la Renta number which looked a lot like what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore at the 2013 Cannes Festival.

Mallika Sherawat too appeared on red carpet for the premier of Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy starrer Mad Max: Fury Road.

Cannes regulars, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor will join Katrina tomorrow.
