Brooke Shields reveals details of divorce from Andre Agassi says he said, 'be happy that we don't have children'

Brooke Shields had opened up about her marriage and subsequent divorce from tennis star Andre Agassi.

While co-hosting The Today Show, the 48-year old American actress revealed to celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser that her divorce was “fairly quick, and relatively easy”, but the 43-year old American retired professional tennis player had told her to “be happy that we don’t have children or I would not have made this easy for you”, the Huffington Post reported.

The former couple was married from May 1997 to April 1999, but had maintained that they were on good terms, and issued a joint statement that declared they had “the utmost love and respect for one another”.
