We have earlier reported how British actress Daisy Edgar Jones has been the cynosure of all the Telugu cine buffs’ eyes ever since she signed up for director SS Rajamouli’s RRR, where she was to star alongside Jr NTR. But it looks like things didn’t work out and the actress is not a part of the much awaited big ticket project anymore!
“Due to unavoidable circumstances, @DaisyEdgarJones is no longer a part of our film. We hope she has a brilliant future. #RRR (sic),” read a post on the film’s official Twitter page.
Incidentally, ever since her part in the film was announced, Daisy Edgar Jones has been subject to a great deal of attention. From fan pages cropping up to meme pages digging out her details, things have been over the top for her.
It is learnt that the undue attention was a bit too overwhelming for the actress who hasn’t acknowledged her participation in the SS Rajamouli film that has a huge star cast, so far. Despite being active on Instagram, at no point has she posted about RRR despite fans repeatedly asking her about it.
While it was assumed that she was asked to be silent on the film, it is now being observed that there was a possibility that there was lack of surety with regards to her being in the movie that will release in multiple languages worldwide. Just as Daisy was bombarded with messages about being a part of the film, it will be no surprise to see consolatory messages to her on the exit from the film.
Starring Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in key roles alongside Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the film is a production of DVV Danayya on DVV Entertainments and is set to release on July 30, 2020.
