Bride spends wedding day destroying dress after fiance leaves her

Just five days before her wedding day, Shelby Swink's fiance left her.

Swink was determined not to spend the day that should have been the happiest one of her life into a "pity party". So her wedding photographer Elizabeth Hoard,  decided to have a "trash the dress" photoshoot with Swink on what would have been her wedding day.

It might not have been what she envisioned, but the day was still filled with laughter and joy as Swink and her family completely ruined her wedding dress, trashing it with paint. The family and her bridesmaids also destroyed their formal wear for the day as well.

Boredpanda reports, Swink felt "liberated and cathartic" after the photoshoot experience. Swink managed to turn an awful situation into a liberating experience.
